Reigning Hearts pendant, also know as raining hearts, was first introduced on February 11, 2016, at Kirby and Company, 1029 Post Road in Darien, CT during the store's pre-Valentine's Day celebration of buying locally. The open heart pendant was designed with the Darien community in mind and when you turn the pendant on its side you will see that the hearts depict the Darien Blue Wave symbol. It was designed for the active, modern Darien women that connect to our community and offer daily inspiration. "Since antiquity, women have worn jewelry as talismanic amulets to give them confidence. You can touch the pendant with your hand, and use it to affirm your life's direction, or to assert your power within the world," says Tutunjian-Khachian.

 The designer was inspired by her late mother, Lillian, a role model who gave her the kind of guidance and love that's embodied in her new design. "My mother had great courage and was a pathfinder in her life's decisions," says Tutunjian-Khachian. "She imbued that confidence in me, and I now send it out into the world through jewelry designs." She credits her continued drive and talent to her late father, Master Jeweler to the Stars Garo Tutunjian and step-mother Jacci Tutunjian of Smoketree Jewelers in Palm Springs, CA.
